Summer Music Camps

“Blast from the Past—Exploring the Lives of Great Composers”

June 10-13, 1:00-3:00

Friedrich Nietzsche once said, "Without music, life would be a mistake." In this camp, we will use instruments, art, crafts, and food to learn to appreciate the music all around us. We will learn about the periods of music, and great composers from each era. Then, we will take a ride in a time machine and blast into the past to meet four composers, up close and personal!
Cost for the camp is $75 for the first family member and $60 for any siblings. A registration fee of $25 will be due May 15. The remaining balance ($50 for first child/ $35 for siblings) will be due the first day of class.

“Bach, Beethoven, and Me—So You Want to Be a Composer”

August 5-8, 9:30-11:30

Join me in a fun, creative camp designed to inspire and equip your children to compose their own pieces of music! Students will leave camp knowing how to make a piece of music reflect its title, use motives, form, and much more. We will learn how to notate music on the computer, and make our own instruments! This camp is full of music listening, music making, and music composing.
Cost for the camp is $75 for the first family member and $60 for any siblings. A registration fee of $25 will be due June 25. The remaining balance ($50 for first child/ $35 for siblings) will be due the first day of class.
The camps dates for the summer camps are not set in stone. If you are unable to attend the dates listed, but are interested, please let me know. We can open up the camps on another week. I need four student attending each camp. Registration fees are non-refundable as they are used to purchase supplies for the camp.
