Peel to Save cards

I am a huge fan of Krispy Kreme Donuts and Dairy Queen.  I get grumpy when I find out about fundraising coupons involving these brands too late so I'm posting this for my daughter.  Her MESA club is selling peel-to-save cards for $10 and they have several coupons for these sugary delicious stores (and more.)  Email me if you'd like to see the coupons- I have a pdf file of the card.  Thanks.

Free to good home.  Frankie is a little over 3 years old, grey tabby cat.  He's half Siamese, half Maine Coon.  He's a big cat.  He's loves people, getting pets, sleeping, and playing with his cat toys.  He's neutered, micro-chipped, and de-clawed on his front paws.  He's an indoors only cat and is very loving.  His owner is highly allergic to him and cannot take allergy medicine any more so needs to find him a new home as soon as possible.  He gets lonely so would love to have another cat for company or an owner who is home a lot.  He has never been around children but loves people. He comes with a bag of his food, cat litter, litter box, treats, and toys, as well as all his paperwork from the vet and his license.  Email amberlilynm@yahoo.com or call 804-9478 if you are interested. - Amber Cooley

Summer Music Camps

“Blast from the Past—Exploring the Lives of Great Composers”

June 10-13, 1:00-3:00

Friedrich Nietzsche once said, "Without music, life would be a mistake." In this camp, we will use instruments, art, crafts, and food to learn to appreciate the music all around us. We will learn about the periods of music, and great composers from each era. Then, we will take a ride in a time machine and blast into the past to meet four composers, up close and personal!
Cost for the camp is $75 for the first family member and $60 for any siblings. A registration fee of $25 will be due May 15. The remaining balance ($50 for first child/ $35 for siblings) will be due the first day of class.

“Bach, Beethoven, and Me—So You Want to Be a Composer”

August 5-8, 9:30-11:30

Join me in a fun, creative camp designed to inspire and equip your children to compose their own pieces of music! Students will leave camp knowing how to make a piece of music reflect its title, use motives, form, and much more. We will learn how to notate music on the computer, and make our own instruments! This camp is full of music listening, music making, and music composing.
Cost for the camp is $75 for the first family member and $60 for any siblings. A registration fee of $25 will be due June 25. The remaining balance ($50 for first child/ $35 for siblings) will be due the first day of class.
The camps dates for the summer camps are not set in stone. If you are unable to attend the dates listed, but are interested, please let me know. We can open up the camps on another week. I need four student attending each camp. Registration fees are non-refundable as they are used to purchase supplies for the camp.
To register, or if you have any questions, please contact Bethany at girlpowerjedi (at) hotmail (dot) com

Easter Hunting

Sorry to post this so late. I got tied up in all this nice weather. When you look at my face, you will see.

Tomorrow. Yes, SATURDAY MARCH 30th, there is an Easter Egg Hunt at the park by the Taylor Ranch Library (I believe it is the Santa Fe Trail Park). This event will be held from 1-3 pm. All you need to do is bring 12 goodie filled eggs for each child that is participating the in the hunt (ie, 3 kids= 36 eggs). Also, you can bring an item of food to share with others, it is up to you. If you have any questions, contact our lovely Marjorie S.
